Olympiads

Every year HBCSE ( Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education ) conducts INMO test ( Indian National Mathematical Olympiad test ) . INMO is the second stage in the selection process for the (International Indian Team for IMO Mathematical Olympiad).Thousands of students across the country attempt INMO but only 30 students are chosen. These 30 students are then assigned to the HBCSE for a month to prepare for International Math Olympiad. Only the best six are finally picked to represent our country at the International Math Olympiad when the training camp at HBCSE is completed .
We at PM Shri K.V. No.2 Ferozepur Cantt motivate and guide our students to participate in RMO ( Regional Maths Olympiad ) , the first stage and INMO , the second stage for the training camp meant for IMO . Not only Maths we motivate guide our students to participate in other Olympiads such as Science Olympiads conducted by IAPT ( Indian Association of Physics Teachers ) , Language Olympiads , Social Sciences Olympiads etc
